Colors, like people, each have their personalities. Come learn what makes them clash, harmonize, and sing.

Have you ever wondered how someone got a certain color in his or her work, or tried mixing that color only to find you couldn’t get it? In this course we’ll explore color theory and how it works differently for painters. You’ll learn about limited palettes and color harmony through practical exercises and studies. You’ll learn that not all paint is the same, how to read labels, why whites and blacks are not all equal, why red and blue don’t always make purple, and more. Come ready to take notes, work hard, create art, and have fun. For all skill levels.
