How important is blogging to an artist’s success? How can an effective blog help promote an artist’s work, while at the same time giving insight into the process that goes into the work itself? These questions and more will be discussed when the Dona Ana Arts Council presents a panel discussion on the use of blogs to promote art as part of a new series titled Promoting Art in Las Cruces . Join the lively discourse at the Rio Grande Theatre from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, Friday, January 30.
The panelists for this discussion will include three local artists who, as avid bloggers, write about their art and lives. Leading the dialog will be Jean Reece Wilkey, Ouida Touchon, and Julie Ford Oliver.
