It’s finally time for the opening of the Wide Bay High Desert II exhibition that features 12 artists from Australia and the United States. The reception will happen simultaneously at the Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery in Queensland and at Unsettled Gallery in Las Cruces, New Mexico where there will be a satellite link up so we can visit each location in real time.

Like all the other artists, I have two pieces in each location and the painting shown here, Centerpiece II, that will be shown in Las Cruces already sold to a very nice lady in California. I’m so happy it’s going to a great new home. You can see it and another piece I have in the gallery as well as all the other artist’s work.

Please come and enjoy the reception with us this Friday, August 28th from 6 to 8pm. Aside from seeing great artwork and enjoying the refreshments, you’ll get to meet one of the artists, Adrienne Williams. She’ll be here for a month from Australia as an artist in residence.

See you then…
